He has produced, performed and managed numerous theatre and dance productions and been involved in the planning and production of major festivals, such as Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, New South Wales, Australia and Sculpture at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains.

He produced the award winning ‘Not a Willing Participant’ screened on the ABC and Black Cockatoo, White Cockatoo for NITV. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media Multiplatform Producing from Metroscreen and is currently completing his Masters in Creative
Industries at Western Sydney University.

In 2015, he established Toolo Ltd, the Blue Mountains Tool Library, a not for profit charity as an initiative to garner support to the Creative Industries by providing access to affordable equipment and education programs.

The Tool Library has gone on to produce a repair café, a digital ecology lab, a tiny homes course with Tafe, safety workshops, a creative equity fund and build a collection of very useful things of
over 600 items stored in the one place. Justin recognises that the Creative Industries accounts for 7.6% of all the resident workforce in the Blue Mountains compared to 4.7% across NSW, making the sector a top 5 employing sector in the Blue Mountains.

The creative industries is the third-greatest contributor to the Blue Mountains Gross Regional Product, and it’s another reason why investing in this sector as a growth sector will see our Blue Mountains flourish.
